A lifelong Southerner\, he has spent more than a decade as an activist and organizer in north Alabama. Adam is a former high school history teacher and spent more than five years representing educators in Huntsville. He is also a union stagehand with IATSE 900 and is proud to volunteer for his local and the North Alabama Area Labor Council. Adam co-hosts and co-produces The Valley Labor Report\, a Southern labor talk show online and on the radio.

Please register by March 12. \nLegislative Day is an annual opportunity for Arise members and friends to meet their lawmakers and make the case for policy changes to improve the lives of everyday Alabamians. \nWe will gather at the State House in Room 200 for a briefing\, news conference and lunch. Folks also will meet with their legislators.
