SUMMARY:Arise listening session in Florence
DESCRIPTION:Arise is listening\, and your input can help shape our 2020 agenda. Join us for a listening session in Florence on June 20 to share what you have to say about our issues and strategies for the next year. These discussions help inform the issue priorities that our members choose at the annual meeting each fall. \nWe want to know what you think\, and we need to hear different perspectives\, especially those of Alabamians with low incomes. Too often\, many Alabamians don’t get a meaningful opportunity to voice their concerns about the issues that matter to them. But Arise is ready and eager to hear what you have to say. Your voice matters! \nThe event will be at the Royal Avenue Recreation Center in Florence at 11 a.m. on Thursday\, June 20 as part of the AARP Shoals Chapter’s monthly meeting. It is free and open to the public. For more information\, email organizer Stan Johnson. \n  \nArise 2020 listening session \nThursday\, June 20\, 2019 – 11 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. \nRoyal Avenue Recreation Center \n421 N.
