Just days before Alabama’s May 19 primary election, our legislative leaders hurried to pass bills to dilute Black Alabamians’ voting power. These new laws threaten to erode representation and engagement of all communities.
Join voting rights advocates from across Alabama this Saturday in a national day of peaceful action in support of voting rights. First, faith leaders will gather for prayer at the Edmund Pettus Bridge in Selma in the morning. Then, people from across our state will gather in the afternoon at the All Roads Lead to the South rally outside the Alabama State Capitol in Montgomery.
